Are you looking for opportunities to train for cross-cultural ministry? If so, there may be a place for you on a Zimbabwe Life Change Team. In 2011, Newfrontiers USA plans to send two teams to Zimbabwe, the first in January and the second in June. A Life Change Team is an opportunity to receive cross-cultural training through immersion in the life and culture of another nation over a period of about two weeks. Newfrontiers’ Life Change Teams are a part of our ‘From The Nations, To The Nations’ training track that is designed to equip people for future cross-cultural ministry. These teams have three main objectives: to gain cross-cultural training, to serve the local church as needed, and to establish a lasting, mutually beneficial relationship with the churches. Team members will interact with local leaders and explore urban and rural Zimbabwean culture.
Life Change Teams are for those from the Newfrontiers family of churches, ages 18 & up. Specific skills are not required, but completion of the ‘From the Nations, To the Nations’ training materials is required.
