Speaker Sessions (audio)

Session 1: "What is the Gospel of Jesus Christ" by Jeff Vanderstelt

The gospel must be at the heart of all we do. It's not just the goal, it is the motivator and the reason. Many church leaders unknowingly lead and motivate out of a sense of guilt or legalism even though goal is salvation. In this talk, Jeff unpacks the realities of living and leading through the gospel.

Session 2: "What Kind of House Will You Build for Me?" by Terry Virgo

God asked Isaiah what kind of a house could be built for Him. As church leaders, we must ask ourselves this question. Are we building based on culture or pragmatism or are we working to build a church that mimics the example set forth in the New Testament?

Session 3: "Who You Are and What You Do? Living as Missional Communities" by Jeff Vanderstelt

Session 4: "You Will Receive Power When the Holy Spirit Comes Upon You" by Terry Virgo

Note: there was a problem with this recording from the Reformed Charismatic Missional conference. Instead, we have made available a similar talk that Terry Virgo gave on the Baptism of the Holy Spirit at Bridgeway Community Church in Sydney, Australia on November 17th 2008

Session 5: "The Gospel of Grace" by Elliot Grudem

The gospel is a scandalous display of grace that can disturb even the most religious. In this talk, Elliot Grudem unpacks the story of the woman who anointed Jesus' feet with oil, painting a vivid picture of the grace of God to save sinners.

Session 6: "Fanning into Flame the Gift of God" by Terry Virgo

Terry takes a look at Timothy, how he worked with Paul, and the challenges he faced in living out his calling and depending on the Holy Spirit
