What We Do
Church in the Boro, like any other biblical church, is on a mission to make disciples of all nations (Matt. 28), to preach the gospel to all creation (Mark 16), and to preach repentance and forgiveness of sins to all people groups (Luke 24). The first believers who gathered together heard the mandate and mission of Jesus in Acts 1:8 and interpreted that by evangelizing the lost, gathering the new believers into a community, maturing in spiritual growth, establishing leadership, and duplicating that process. Today we call this church planting. And that is exactly how the first disciples interpreted what we call the "Great Commission."
In our local church we have summed our mission up this way: Reconciling Sinners to God, People to Each Other, and the World to King Jesus. We enact our mission through our vision: Pursuing the humility, simplicity, clarity, ecstasy, liberty, charity, unity, and integrity of the gospel of Jesus Christ. This what we love. This is what we do. Would you pray about coming to join us together on a mission?
