The Praise and Worship team ministry exists to first exalt the greatness of God for our ultimate joy and second to lead others in the same exaltation, by joining in the Father's mission to seek and save the lost to make them true worshipers (John 4:24).
We at church in the 'Boro realize that the word "worship" has been greatly abused and reduced. So when we refer to worship, we are speaking of how our whole lives are to exalt God's greatness. Our music ministry exists specifically to worship through singing praise, adoration and awe toward God. All of life is worship. Singing is simply one means, as powerful and experiential as it may be, of worshipping God.
The worship team consists of:
Jonathan Chambers - worship leader & vocals
Justin Kolumber - lead melody male vocals, leader in training
Abby Miller - soprano female vocals
Sherri Wilkerson - alto female vocals
Ruth Ballard - lead piano, vocals
Ben Hardin - percussion: cajone, jimbay, bongos
Andrew Ballard - jimbay, bongos
The Tech team consists of:
Ken Miller - lead pc guy and slide presenter
James Reames - pc and slides
Brice Fogle - lead sound technician
Zach Gallman - sound technician
Harrison Wilkerson - sound technician
