Baptism Video Testimonials

Mik Ballard

"I've been a Christian for almost my entire life. Having grown up in a Christian household I don't remember the exact moment I was saved (8-9). My parents and other influences have always been Christian. Almost 2 years ago we moved to Statesboro. I venomously opposed this transition. When I discovered there was nothing I could do I grew very angry and bitter toward God and everyone around me. My anger came out at home, school and at church. I treated people horribly. During this time I also struggled with legalism. A little over a year ago the Lord began to work on my heart. Largely due to many of the incredible friends I had made despite my anger. I began to feel at peace with where God had placed me. I grew more patient and began to mind my tongue. I realized God had put me here for a reason and I began to accept responsibility and take the role of a servant. With God's help I am still continuing to grow."

"When I wasn't a Christian I had anger problems, struggled with faith, not loving people, treating people like trash and lying. This is how I became to follow Christ. My friends Holly and Poppy brought me to Christ. They were a Christian so they brought me to Christ. I had lots of faith and it was a miracle. So now I don't do any more of those bad things. Hardly. And God is helping me on anger problems. So nothing can hurt me. I should really embrace it!"

"Before I became a Christian I listened to bad music and I curst a little bit and I lied every here and then and I hurt my sister with words and I had anger problems. This is how I came to Christ my mom and dad told me over and over that I must follow Jesus. This is my life sents I follwed Christ everything has changed because I have not got many spankings but I still get spankings and I used to like in trouble and now don't like to get in trouble and now I speak to my mom and dad nicely. And everything has changed in my life. Thank you for listening. Peace out."
